The Bank of Delmarva at 18572 Coastal Highway in Lewes was robbed Monday afternoon, according to a press release from the Delaware State Police.
Around 2:15 p.m., a man entered the bank, approached a teller and handed her a note demanding cash.
The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash and he ran out of the bank and south across the parking lot and got into a gray sedan and drove away.
No one was hurt.
The robber was black 20 to 26, and 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-2. He wore a blue jacket, blue pants, black sneakers and a yellow flat-brimmed hat.
State police detectives obtained photos from bank surveillance videos.
