Detectives are asking the public for help solving a cold case involving a Georgetown man found murdered in the area of Bridgeville.
According to a Delaware State Police news release, the body of Michael J. Chicosky was found in a field off Apple Tree Road Dec. 20, 2008.
During the subsequent investigation, officers learned Chicosky was seen with two other men Dec. 19, driving around Bridgeville in Chicosky’s 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The car's charred remains were also discovered Dec. 20 at Band C Storage, on Cannon Road in Bridgeville.
There have been several leads in the case but no arrests, according to the release.
