SEEN ON SCENE: Tractor, Truck & Car Show

The First State Antique Tractor Club held its 13th Annual Tractor, Truck and Car Show June 14-16 at the Georgetown Speedway. The event aims to educate those who are curious about older farm equipment. Among the activities throughout the weekend were tractor games, a lawn tractor pull, a petting zoo and a parade of antique tractors.

In an effort to become more acquainted with the town’s law abiding citizens, the Georgetown Police Department held an open house on June 15. Members of the police department were on hand to show visitors what their jobs entail and how they can serve to assist and protect Georgetown residents.
