The Georgetown Farmers’ Market kicked off its 2013 summer season on May 22 in the North Bedford Street park, behind the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. If you didn’t make it, don’t worry! The market will be in the park every Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. throughout the summer.

Among the event’s attractions were live music, the 4th Annual Spicer Memorial Car Show, a petting zoo, various vendors selling crafts and food, the official grand opening of Arena’s at the Airport, and more. Cruise Night at The Circle, hosted by the Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware and sponsored by The Brick Hotel and Lester Realty, is held every third Wednesday of the month at The Circle in Georgetown. The event is open to antiques, rods and customs, and special interest vehicles. A discount coupon for The Brick is given to all cruise-in cars and a drawing is conducted each month for a dinner for two at The Brick.
