Middletown High School received the No. 1 seed in the DIAA Division I tournament, while Caravel Academy is the top seed in the Division II tournament

After a finishing 14-1 in the regular season and winning the Blue Hen Conference Flight A title, the Middletown High School girls soccer team has been seeded No. 1 in the DIAA Division I Tournament.

The first round will be held Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25, but the times and locations haven't been announced by the DIAA yet.

Here are the first round matchups in Division I:

No. 1 Middletown (14-1) vs. No. 8 Polytech (10-5).

No. 4 Charter School of Wilmington (11-4) vs. No. 5 Appoquinimink (11-4).

No. 2 Padua (12-2-1) vs. No. 7 Sussex Tech (9-5-1).

No. 3 Caesar Rodney (11-3) vs. No. 6 Concord (10-3-1).

DIVISION II TOURNAMENT

Caravel Academy finished the regular season 12-3 and was seeded No. 1 in the Division II tournament.

Here are the first round matchups:

No. 8 Archmere (9-5-1) vs. No. 9 St. Georges Tech (9-4-2) Saturday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at Caravel Academy.

No. 6 Tower Hill (11-2-1) vs. No. 11 Friends (7-6-1) Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m. at Caravel Academy.

No. 7 Delaware Military Academy (9-5-1) vs. No. 10 Lake Forest (7-7) Saturday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at Milford High School.

No. 5 Delmar (10-4) vs. No. 12 St. Elizabeth (8-7) Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m. at Milford High School.

The top four seeds receive first-round byes.

In the second round, No. 1 Caravel (12-3) will play the winner of the Archmere-St. Georges Tech game.

No. 2 Newark Charter (13-2) will play the winner of the Delaware Military Academy-Lake Forest game.

No. 3 Indian River (14-1) will play the winner of the Tower Hill-Friends game.

No. 4 Ursuline (11-4) will play the winner of the Delmar-St. Elizabeth game.

The second round is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25 but the DIAA hasn't announced the times or locations yet.
