Delaware Tech bats stay hot in double-header win

The Delaware Tech Roadrunners baseball squad continued a recent trend of runaway scoring, taking an April 28 double-header from Salem Community College, 12-3 and 15-7.

The Roadrunners scored multiple runs in each of the first four innings, including a four-run first inning. Pitchers Tony Messina and Derek Thomas combined for seven strikeouts.

In the second game, they outdid their offensive performance, cranking out five runs in the first inning and plating 15 runs on 14 hits. Sammy Farnell led the Roadrunners with four hits and three RBI.
