Sunday evening at Sussex Central High, the prep wrestling state individual championships were decided as the season reached its conclusion.

Host Central had three individual champs in juniors Codey Combs (145) and Cody Broomall (140), along with sophomore Jay Matheus (160).

Sussex Tech too got itself a champ, as senior Wendell Cannon (135) topped the podium for a second time.

Several other Central, Tech and Indian River grapplers placed at the tournament.
