The Delaware Emergency Management Agency announced it will kick of a disaster preparedness awareness campaign with a video in English and Spanish. Students and teachers at Sussex Central High School will be among the first to see the new video.
The video will be shown in the theater at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3 at Sussex Central High School. The public is invited to attend.
All attendees are asked to enter through the school's main entrance and be escorted to the theater.
Gov. Jack Markell, will join the attendees along with Secretary of Education Lillian Lowery, Secretary of Safety and Homeland Security Lewis Schiliro, Director of the Delaware Emergency Management Agency James E. Turner III, Superintendent of the Delaware State Police Colonel Robert Coupe, Sussex Central Principal Timothy Capone, representatives of FEMA Region III and other elected officials, educators and members of the law enforcement and emergency response communities.
