The U.S. Army Baltimore Recruiting Battalion announced Monday that Sussex Central’s Codey Combs is this week’s winner of the Army STRONG Wrestler of the Week, honoring Delaware’s best high school wrestlers.
Combs is ranked 14th in the nation at 145-pounds and recorded a pin to help spark Sussex Central’s 44-21 dual match win over Caesar Rodney. As a weekly winner, Combs is now a finalist for the Army STRONG Wrestler of the Year.
