After a pair of postponements over the weekend, Sussex East’s American Legion Baseball team figures to get back to action this week.
Up first for the Warriors is a Tuesday, June 22, 6 p.m. bout at Cape Henlopen High against Spooner Post. Then, over the coming weekend, East will host Stahl Post for a double dip at Indian River High, which is slated to begin at noon.
Sussex West is also scheduled to play Tuesday against Post 3 at Milford High and the Patriots have a Thursday contest against division leader Fox Post 2 at Wesley College. Both games are slated for 6 p.m. starts. West also has its own double-header Saturday at Christiana High versus VFW Post 3420, which is scheduled to begin at noon.
