Tryouts for the softball Delaware South Carpenter Cup team will be held at Lake Forest High School June 1 from 6-8 p.m. for all interested current Sussex and Kent County sophomores and juniors.
Dover head coach Melanie Settle will head this season’s South team, which can carry a maximum of 18 players.
The event is scheduled for the week of June 22 at FDR Park in southern Philadelphia.
During the tournament, all players who earn a roster spot must play at least three innings a game and pitchers are allowed a maximum of four frames per appearance.
