The program on Judy Johnson, the first Delawarean elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20, 10:30 a.m. at the Delaware Public Archives.
Ellen Rendle, author of "Judy Johnson: Delaware’s Invisible Hero," will discuss the life and times of this important Delaware athlete. Considered the best third baseman in the Negro Leagues, Johnson was the first athlete ever inducted into the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
The program will be held at the Delaware Public Archives, located at 121 Duke of York St., Dover. This event is free to the public and no reservations are required.
