Rain forced most of Saturday's Little League All-Star action to today.
Included in the washouts was District III representative Georgetown-Millsboro's shot at a Big League state championship against District II Naamans. Already trailing 1-0 in the best of three series after Friday's 5-3 loss to District II, the local squad needs a sweep today to continue its season. Game one is slated for a 3 p.m. start.
In Minor Baseball, rivals will clash in Woodbridge tonight at 8 p.m. when Millsboro and Georgetown meet in an elimination game. Both teams lost their Thursday openers and were forced to the losers' bracket, but only Millsboro had to play Friday, when it won 12-1 over Nanticoke.
Only one Minor Softball game is slated for tonight, as Lower Sussex will take on Nanticoke in Lewes at 6 p.m. with the loser eliminated from the field.
Also today in another elimination game, Millsboro-Georgetown's Major Softball All-Stars will square off against Lower Sussex in Seaford at 6 p.m.
