Police arrested Miguel Serpa, 27, and Antonio Serpa, 32, and charged them with delivery of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of drug paraphernalia and other drug related charges. Antonio Serpa was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $128,000 cash bon and Miguel Serpa on $109,000 cash bond.


Delaware State Police arrested two Bridgeville men June 8 after a year-long investigation into drug activity in the Coverdale Crossroads Community.

Police searched three homes and arrested the men in connection with drugs, paraphernalia and weapons found at the residences, said Cpl. Bruce Harris of the Delaware State Police.

Also seized during the search was 4.1 grams of crack cocaine, $64,428 in cash, two flat screen televisions, seven cellphones, eight firearms, six vehicles, two motorcycles and one all-terrain vehicle, Harris said.
