A 46-year-old Milton man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash in Frederica early Friday morning.

Troopers were called to the scene of the crash at 5:13 a.m. Friday, as a passer-by reported a motorcycle light off the side of the roadway, police said.

The investigation revealed Rudy B. Rouse, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries he sustained in the crash, police said.

Andrews Lake Road was closed between Robbins Road and McGinnis Pond Road for two and a half hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.
