New Process Fibre manufactures extrusion, tooling, and stamping of non-metallic components. It is also the largest original equipment manufacturing companies in the world.

“The digital technology world had caught up with New Process Fibre and the company recognized they needed help in educating their employees in order to stay competitive,” said Bill Feher, industrial training coordinator for Sussex Tech Adult Division.

Sussex Tech Adult Division developed a three-phased training program designed specifically for the needs of New Process Fibre. They conducted literacy assessments of all employees. The results of the assessments were used to develop reading comprehension and basic math skills classes for the employees and also used to develop benchmarks for the company's new hire process. Sussex Tech also developed customized blueprint reading classes for the company.
