Melaney Heald of Georgetown, a sophomore finance major at Widener University in Chester, Pa., was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2014 semester.

The Dean’s List at Widener recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.5 and above for the semester.

Widener is a private university with campuses in Chester, Exton and Harrisburg, Pa., as well as Wilmington, which serve some 6,300 students. A comprehensive doctorate-granting university, Widener is comprised of eight schools and colleges that offer liberal arts and sciences, professional and pre-professional curricula leading to associate’s, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees.
