Here are some fun events to dive into this weekend.

1. A good time will be brewing for all ages at the family-friendly R2Hop2 Beer and Music Festival. And bear in mind, this will likely sell out, so you’ll want to buy tickets immediately.

Presented by Fordham & Dominion Brewing Company, the fest will feature performances by Pasadena, Barrel House and Casey Alvarez, along with a surprise performance before the gates open.

More than 10 beers will be on draft with samplings from Harvest Ridge Winery and Painted Stave Distilling. Firkin tapping will also be available. The purchase of a VIP ticket will get you a t-shirt, R2hop2 glass, your own chill spot, a bottomless mug and a food ticket. A general admission ticket will get you an R2Hop2 glass and four beer tickets. A designated-driver ticket will get you unlimited Dominion soda.

Other festival highlights will include a photo booth, kids’ zone, face painting, keg tossing, multiple food options and dozens of local artisans to purchase wares from.

R2Hop2 will be held at 1284 MCD Dr., in Dover from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. COST $50 VIP, $25 general, $20 designated driver. INFO Visit fordhamanddominion.com or call 678-4810.
