Jazzy Jewels, a women’s group in Sussex County, donated an infant swing and bags of new baby clothes for new moms to Beebe Healthcare.
Jazzy Jewels members presented the clothing at a luncheon to Bridget Buckaloo, executive director of women’s health services at Beebe Healthcare. This was the third year in a row that the women have donated clothing and other items to Beebe Healthcare.
The infant swing moves from side to side and plays music. It will be used to help babies with neonatal abstinence syndrome.
The Jazzy Jewels is a chapter of the Red Hat Society. Members meet each month for lunch at various locations around Sussex County. Members in the group are from Milton, Georgetown, Lewes, Seaford, Long Neck, Laurel, Millsboro and Rehoboth Beach.
