The Delaware Department of Transportation will accept comments about its regulations until Sept. 1.

House Bill 147 was passed by the General Assembly and signed by Gov. Jack Markell in 2015, requiring executive branch agencies to review their existing regulations to determine whether they should be amended or rescinded. Pursuant to 29 Del. C. S 10407, DelDOT has been conducting a review of all its regulations that have not been updated in the last four years.

The department has been soliciting input from the public since June 1. It is also conducting an internal review of the regulations and has held a public hearing in each county.

Written comments can be mailed to: Delaware Department of Transportation, c/o Office of the Deputy Secretary, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE, 19903; or submitted at svy.mk/29w53kX.
