The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Division of Parks and Recreation will hold a live auction for low-digit surf fishing tags at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Delaware Seashore State Park in Rehoboth Beach.

 The auction will be held during the Boo-B-Q By The Sea family festival, which has a $5 admission. 

The following tag numbers will be sold at the live auction on Oct. 22: Nos. 1, 5, 11, 200, 400 and 500. Also available will be the choice of tags 31–99, 105-499, 501-599, 1,001-5,000; and 5,001-9,999.  

Bidding will open at $250. Once purchased, owners will retain the tag as long as they have a valid surf fishing permit.
