The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay celebrated the official opening of its 33,000 square-foot clubhouse Dec. 17.

“At long last, the residents of the Peninsula have a brand new and beautiful clubhouse,” said Preston Schell, CEO of Ocean Atlantic Companies, the developer of the Peninsula. “The clubhouse ties in with our first-class Peninsula lifestyle and sits on the highest point in the community, providing magnificent views of our golf course and the Indian River Bay with the iconic bridge in the distance.”

The interior space features a wine room, fine dining, banquet space, a wood burning pizza oven, a billiards room, locker rooms, a golf shop and an interactive HD golf simulator. With a veranda that wraps around the back of the building, residents can also enjoy the alfresco seating area with a fireplace.

“The entire Peninsula team has put so much heart and soul into the creation of this beautiful building,” said Donald DeMasters, general manager. “Throughout the entire building process, our number one goal was to have a club that is second to none in terms of quality, appearance and overall experience for its homeowners. With our new clubhouse, we have far exceeded those expectations.”

Residents of the community also joined in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating the culmination of the community’s focal point.
