Nanticoke Health Services named Darian Libby February’s Nurse of the Month.
Libby began her career at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in June 2007 as a clinical support tech. In June 2010, she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She then continued working on Nanticoke’s OB unit as a registered nurse.
Libby volunteers to work on special projects including assisting in developing an education packet for pregnant women at the NPN offices and the OB Triage Quality Program. She is active on the OB Quality Council. Libby has promoted team building on OB by bringing staff together for the Bling the Bra contest in October and as captain of the OB softball team in Nanticoke’s annual softball tournament.
Libby lives in Milton. She has traveled on two mission trips, one in March 2016 to Honduras and the second in January to Guatemala. She also decided to become involved in the foster care process.
