The Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Ave., is encouraging the community to view its postcard exhibit, “Wish You Were Here,” before the exhibit closes March 12.

The exhibit, a display of more than 300 postcards from the museum’s collection and on loan from donors, provides a window into the styles and culture of the 20th century development of Rehoboth Beach, and many portray houses and street scenes that give a glimpse into the development of the city of Rehoboth Beach.

Museum Director Alexander said that the museum is hoping to complete a fundraising drive this year to allow it to expand into the second floor of the current facility.

“The completed second floor will allow us to dramatically increase our permanent collection on display, and a postcard exhibit will certainly be part of any expanded regular exhibit.”

Rehoboth Beach Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is by donation.
