Katae Harper allegedly threw vials and needles throughout a medical facility's parking lot.

Milford police have arrested a local woman after she allegedly caused a disturbance at a local medical facility.

Department spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said the incident took place at about 9 a.m. Monday, May 22 at the facility, located in the 600 block of the Milford-Harrington Highway.

He did not identify the facility by name.

Their investigation showed a former employee, identified as Katae Harper, 23, sent text messages to an employee and threw numerous unused medical items, such as vials and needles, throughout the parking lot.

Harper “was briefly a contracted employee by the facility and was advised by staff that her services were no longer needed,” Masten said.

Harper is charged with harassment, two counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal trespass, and then released on a $1,050 unsecured bond.

She also was ordered to have no contact with the victim or the facility.
