The Rehoboth Art League will host its annual Jewelry Trunk Show, a juried members’ showcase, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9-10 at the RAL’s historic Henlopen Acres campus, 12 Dodds Lane.

Various fine art jewelry will be on display and available for purchase. The artisans will discuss the inspirations behind their works and the processes used in creating them. More than a dozen jewelers will be set up both days throughout the Corkran, Tubbs and Ventures Galleries.

Jurors are jewelers Aimee Petkus and Kaitlyn Evans. Petkus received a Bachelor of Science in natural resources with a concentration in geology and commercial recreation and tourism from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in metals and jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Evans earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in jewelry and metalsmithing from the University of Pennsylvania, Millersville; and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Forever fascinated by boxes and lockets, she has been fabricating these and other objects since starting her metalsmithing career in 2006.

Participating jewelers include Joan Danoff, Joanne DeFiore, Susan Donohoe, Caroline Downes, Gail Gingrich, Wanda Gohler, Tracey Harrell, Alison Jefferies, Marilyn Nugent, Tonya Perri, Lois Porterfield, Michele Ross, Marilee Taussig, Stephen Tindall and Richelle Walk

Also, on display in the Step Up Gallery is the Members’ Sales Exhibition, showcasing an eclectic collection of fine art and crafts by RAL Member Artists.
