Possum Point Players’ “Let it Go: A Night at the Oscars” fundraiser will be held at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Possum Hall, 441 Old Laurel Road, Georgetown.

Entertainment, food and drink and a live auction of exclusive items will be featured; tickets are limited, $80 per person or $150 a couple and can be purchased by calling 856-4560 or visiting possumpointplayers.org.

Set just a day before the televised evening of Oscar presentations, “Let It Go” celebrates Oscar-winning music with an original revue. Possums’ Night at the Oscars will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a stroll down the red carpet, hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails.

“Let It Go” was created and directed by Donna de Kuyper, of Lewes, and Doug Yetter, of Rehoboth Beach. Yetter is also music director. Cast members of the revue include Claudius Bowden, of Georgetown; Max Dick and John Hulse, of Rehoboth Beach; and Dulcena Kemmerlin and Lorraine Steinhoff, of Milford. Also appearing are Dawn Conaway, of Seaford; Kyra Cutsail, of Laurel; Alonzo Dixon, of Bridgeville; Val Harmon, of Millsboro; and John Zinzi, of Milton.

Georgetown residents Jim Hartzell and Don Megee are “Oscar night” hosts.
