The Milton Public Library, 121 Union St., will host the free healthy living workshop, the Delaware Chronic Disease Self-Management Program in two sessions, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. March 8, 15, 22 and 29 and April 5 and 12; and from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 10, 17 and 24 and May 1, 8 and 15.

The workshop is for anyone with chronic health conditions including anxiety, arthritis, asthmas, blood pressure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, depression, emphysema, heart or kidney disease or other physical or mental conditions.

More knowledge about chronic health conditions can prevent and/or delay health complications; help patients deal with frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation; learn about appropriate exercise to maintain and improve strength, flexibility and endurance; communicate effectively with health professionals and others; and understand the value of nutrition in health.

The free workshop is sponsored by Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health, Diabetes and Health Disease Prevention and Control Program.
