At least 10 wine vendors and four beer brewers will join the Friends with co-sponsor R&L Liquors. Cheese tastings will be offered with the support of local vendors. Volunteers will be preparing appetizers designed to pair well with wines and beers offered for tasting.

The Friends will sell signature merchandise, including shirts, caps, sweatshirts and hoodies, at one of the tables.

Tickets purchased in advance are $27 each, which park entrance fee. Tickets are available at R&L Liquors, 207 Second St., Lewes; the Cape Henlopen State Park Office; and the Lewes Chamber of Commerce, 120 Kings Highway. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $30, cash, credit and debit cards accepted. Admission includes a commemorative wine glass.

Funds raised will benefit the Thatcher Education Fund used by the friends to support much needed financial support for the education programs and transportation needs for school groups visiting the park.
