“Multimedia Showcase Live,” the fifth annual multimedia event highlighting the best work of students in Delaware Technical Community College’s communications program, is set for 6 p.m. April 30 at the Milton Theatre, 110 Union St.

Featuring exhibits in videography, photography, creative writing, podcasting and graphic design, the showcase will also be broadcast on YouTube. The broadcast will include additional footage, including artists interviews, a hosted pre-show and coverage of the show itself.

OC98 disc jockey Magellan, a graduate of the communications program, will emcee. Additionally, displays of students in photography, design, podcasting and writing will be exhibited.

Viewers can get a guided tour of the event via the YouTube live stream, hosted by students Olivia Tennefoss, Chris Parker and Jana Ruark. The three will provide live interviews with guests and artists while highlighting this year’s displays.

Doors for the event open at 6 p.m., the live stream event will start at 6:30 p.m., and the video presentation is set to take place at 7 p.m. The event is free.
