The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare will host its babysitting course this summer.
The one-day course teaches teens the characteristics and qualities of a good sitter, about child development and age-appropriate activities, safe home practices, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR.
Classes are for ages 12-15. Cost is $50 per participant, on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should bring a bagged lunch. Juice and snacks will be provided.
Classes are set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25, June 27, July 9 and July 10 at the School of Nursing, directly behind Beebe’s Lewes Campus. 424 Savannah Road.
