— Freeman Highway: The bridge will be closed at 8 p.m. to eastbound vehicular traffic. Vehicles traveling east on Freeman Highway will be diverted at Monroe Avenue.

Pre-event closures do not apply to residents who present proof of address to a police officer at the closure points.

Event and post-event road closures include:

— Savannah Road and Freeman Highway will be closed to all eastbound traffic until traffic congestion east of the canal has been cleared.

— Pilottown Road will be closed to southbound traffic at the intersection of Queen Anne Avenue.

— Gills Neck Road will be closed to northbound traffic at the intersection of Rodaline Avenue.

Following the event, all vehicular traffic on Savannah Road, east of the bridge, will be held until bicycle and pedestrian traffic resumes to safe levels. All vehicles on Savannah Road east of the bridge will be directed westbound until passing the Kings Highway and Third Street intersection. There will be no turns onto Gills Neck Road, Pilottown Road or King’s Highway.

Traffic on all streets intersecting with Savannah Road will be held until the traffic congestion has been cleared in the beach front areas.
