Women’s March Sussex will sponsor the seminar “Delaware Politics 102” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave.

Paulette Rappa will lead this interactive session, giving an overview of the Delaware Constitution, defining the roles of the three branches of the state Government and walking through how a bill becomes a law. In addition, it identifies the stakeholders in the process; and how the process, the lawmakers and the constituents — the public — work together. The course is designed to enable participants to reach a comfortable level of knowledge about the Delaware’s governing bodies and how the state is governed. Attendance at a Delaware Politics 101 seminar is not required to participate in this session.

Persons interested in knowing how political decisions are made in Sussex County and Delaware are encouraged to attend this workshop. Newcomers to the area and longtime residents will find the material presented to be both informative and entertaining.

Registration is required to delawarepolitics102.eventbrite.com and is limited to 60 attendees.
