A house caught fire in Georgetown Thursday morning.
Around 9 a.m. on April 16, the Georgetown Fire company arrived on the scene of a vacant home in the 18000 block of Gravel Hill Road. Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the structure. Mutual aid fire companies assisted at the scene. There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Office of the Delaware State Fire Marshal. Damages are estimated at $100,000.
