Sussex Tech's Jonathan Rocco scored the game winner in overtime to lift the Ravens' soccer team to a 3-2 win over the Eagles at Smyrna High Thursday night.
The Ravens took a 1-0 lead at the three-minute mark of the first half on a goal by John Farro with an assist from Trevor Daisey.
A minute later, the Eagles tied the game on a goal from Preston Marshall with an assist from Easley Pierson.
At the 29-minute mark, Rocco scored his first goal of the game to give Ravens a 2-1 lead that they carried into halftime.
In the second half, Smyrna's Albert Toe scored at the 70-minute mark to tie the game at 2-2 before Rocco's heroics in overtime for Sussex Tech.
The Ravens outshot the Eagles 10-7 and held a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
In goal, Jodi Johnson made six saves for Sussex Tech, while Nick Taylor made six saves for Smyrna.
