Trinity Logistics recently visited TidalHealth Nanticoke to present a check for $8,000 to the hospital’s heart fund.

This contribution represents proceeds from its 2020 Heart & Sole 5K held in September. Rescheduled from April due to impacts from COVID-19, the Trinity Foundation held this event with a smaller participant pool and following all social distancing guidelines.

“We were able to safely host about 70 participants this year,” said Greg Massey, vice president of Trinity Logistics and co-chair of this year’s Heart & Sole 5K. “While the number of runners was restricted, the community still supported this effort including a number of event sponsors and individual donations. Money raised will be used to provide services for cardiology patients at TidalHealth Nanticoke.”

“I want to thank Trinity Logistics, the Trinity Foundation and all of this year’s sponsors,” said Penny Short, president of TidalHealth Nanticoke. “Trinity has been a long-time supporter of healthcare in our community and I’m so thankful they continue to support our organization. It was a wonderful day and I look forward to next year’s event.”
