Top Workplaces 2021: Nominate your company or organization
The past 12 months have been challenging for employees and business owners across multiple industries in Delaware and around the country.
Did your employer take extraordinary steps in 2020 or in some way make you proud to work for them?
If so, it is time to recognize those who have gotten through it all and made a positive impact on their workplaces and communities.
Delaware Online/The News Journal is accepting nominations for 2021's Top Workplaces, which recognizes small businesses, nonprofits and major corporations.
Companies are separated by size: large companies with 400 or more employees, midsize companies with 100 to 399 employees, and small companies with fewer than 100 employees.
This is The News Journal's 15th year recognizing local companies in the Top Workplaces program. The News Journal was the first program in the nation to partner with the company, now called Energage, which conducts research for the project.
NOMINATE: Top Workplaces 2021
Energage conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 55 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 7,000 organizations in 2020.
The process is based on a scientific survey of employees who rate their workplace culture. It also gives companies insights into what makes them unique. The surveys are 24 questions and will happen between February and May.
The nomination deadline is March 26.
Last year, nearly 700 organizations in the state were invited to participate, and 60 winners were recognized after more than 8,500 survey responses.
