Alumnus Dominque “Nikki” Kinnier is returning home to Saint Mark’s High School to serve as Associate Director of Athletics and Assistant Girls’ Volleyball Coach, the school announced March 18.

A 2009 graduate, Kinnier was the 2008 Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association volleyball player of the year and Gatorade player of the year. She went on to play volleyball on a full scholarship at Hofstra University, where she was a three-time Colonial Athletic Association player of the week.

In her administrative role, she will focus on high-performance athletic training for teams and athletes as well as conducting camps and clinics. As assistant volleyball coach, Kinnier will serve under her former head coach and mentor, Nancy Griskowitz.

“The lessons learned from Coach Griskowitz, in athletics and in life, have guided me in every endeavor,” said Kinnier. “She simply made an impact in my life, and I look forward to being able to do the same for other student-athletes.”

Kinnier holds a Bachelor’s of Science in community health and nutrition from Hofstra University and is a certified personal trainer.
